About the Course
Work-related psychological health and safety is no longer optional. Under the WHS Act, supporting Regulations, and the Code of Practice for psychosocial hazards in the workplace, organisations—and the leaders within them—have a clear duty to identify, assess, and control psychosocial hazards just as rigorously as physical ones. The challenge for most leaders isn’t willingness. It’s knowing what to look for, what to say, and what to do.
That’s exactly what this bespoke Training Worx program delivers. Over two focused days, leaders learn to recognise psychosocial hazards such as high job demands, poor support, workplace conflict, and inappropriate behaviours; contribute to risk assessment and the implementation of control measures; and apply the consultation and reporting processes the legislation requires. Because managing psychological safety is fundamentally a human skill, the program goes beyond compliance—building the influential communication and emotional intelligence that turn safety obligations into genuine leadership capability.

Participants who successfully complete the program receive a Statement of Attainment for three nationally recognised units of competency.
