Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Training
Delivered in person across 5 days of training, our HSR course will ensure that your Health and Safety representatives possess all the skills and knowledge to enable them to perform effectively.

Training Overview:
The Health and Safety Representative (HRS) Training Course has been developed for newly elected Health and Safety Representatives in Western Australia who have not previously completed an approved course.
Under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA), all newly elected HSRs are entitled to attend an accredited introductory training course within three months of being elected.
This course is accredited by the Work Health and Safety Commission (WA) and delivered by Training Worx (RTO 52508) as an approved provider.
The program equips HSRs with the knowledge and skills to:
- Understand the WHS legislative framework in Western Australia
- Represent workers on health and safety matters
- Identify and manage workplace hazards and risks
- Consult effectively with PCBU and mangement
- Issue and manage Provisional Improvement Notices (PINs)
Participants who complete the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance recognised by the Work Health and Safety Commission.
Course Duration:
The HSR course runs over 5 consecutive days. The duration is mandated by WorkSafe WA and cannot be modified.
Course Fee:
$990 per participant
